Did Harry and Meghan really get what they wanted?

Secondly, Hollywood wanted nothing to do with them as they were considered grifters & gate crashers. And they certainly didn’t have the funds to match the wealth of Hollywood A-Listers.

The probelm with those two is that they live in the moment. The never look at the bigger picture or the long range forecast. They have become a laughing stock!

Every project they started failed or got dropped. Their successes at anything have been quite bi-polar. I think the worst mistake for them was when they gathered their sugars to boost the Sussexes and tear apart the Walses. That made the world hate the Sussexes even more and sealed Harry’s fate for ever gettting back into his family. The sugars went so far out of left field that they destroyed Harry’s chances of ever again being a Royal. That plan was ill-conceived & counter-intuitive.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?

Not even close. They abandoned the family firm to live in Hollywood with the expectation that Charles would fund their lives. He did not. King Charles made it clear that if they wanted a Hollywood lifestyle they would have to earn it.
